Online Courses/ Teaching
A seasoned online university instructor, in 2018 Jennifer launched her first online course on Udemy-- Three Keys to Happiness: Gratitude, Forgiveness and Letting Go. This will be the first in a series of courses planned as part of the Sophia Wisdom School, an online repository of courses offering transformational and inspirational courses and retreats.
Jennifer has been a full-time English faculty member and Assistant Program Director and has been a university instructor for over 15 years, teaching exclusively online for over nine years. She has an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English.
Writer and Presenter
Jennifer has presented poetry readings/ performances and workshops in the U.S, England and Scotland. For four years she toured with a Turkish Sufi music ensemble, playing frame drum and reciting mystical poetry, the fruit of which was the book Quarreling with God: Mystic Rebel Poems of the Dervishes of Turkey.
Her books include a book of illustrated poems, Divine Nostalgia, and Quarreling with God: Mystic Rebel Poems of the Dervishes of Turkey (translated with Latif Bolat). She is the editor of Little Grandmother's (Kiesha Crowther) book Message for the Tribe of Many Colors (2011). Her forthcoming book, Sophia’s Book of Wisdom: 25 Illuminations of the Soul is coming soon on Kindle. She has also worked as a book editor, grant writer and artist.
She currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband and two daughters.
